I teach yoga and pilates based classes in a private studio in Chippenham for all levels every Wednesday at 19:30. Contact me for further details.
When I first take on a new client, as part of our initial session, I will assess their mobility and any restrictions within their movements.
I'm a mobility specialist and understand the importance of mobilising those joints and activating the muscles correctly before progressing into more advanced movements.
I believe more so in training you in weighted and/or bodyweight exercises that transfer into every day life movements and instilling the correct techniques instead of just going through the motions as I have seen all too often in the fitness industry.
I am qualified to train people to help manage and improve their low back pain through exercise as long as your GP hasn't advised you against any light work.
I am qualified as a part of the government's exercise referral scheme to help patients manage and improve their conditions whilst liaising with their GP under your health professional's quidance.
I understand first-hand the importance of exercise for mental health. I'm qualified to have mental health patients referred to me for exercise through the government's exercise referral scheme. I instruct yoga and pilates based classes and incorporate those disciplines in my one on one sessions, too.
I understand the importance of training women differently as they go through different stages of their menstrual cycles and what to expect at those different phases.
I provide nutritional guidance depending on your own personal goals and lifestyle.
I have been training athletes for a while now and can assist you in improving your performance. I work closely with local athletes, including training the Chippenham Chargers Dodgeball team.
I have experience rehabilitating and recovering clients with injuries whilst working alongside a physiotherapist, helping you to stengthen muscles and mobilise joints.
